Assassin’s Creed 3 Connor 360 Video

Posted by Scott Grant | 27 Mar 2012 |

Get up close and personal with the Brotherhood’s newest member.

In case any of you were worried, Connor, the hero of Assassin’s Creed 3 will still have a hidden blade just like his forefathers. That said, you have to love the look of that tomahawk.

The video below will give you an up close and personal look at the tools that Connor will use to fight the templars and the redcoats. You know, at first, I thought that outfit of his looked a little silly but it’s definitely growing on me.

Made up junk. The Americans already hate it. Why couldn’t they make this Connor character a real American instead of this “half-British” fantasy. The Americans would have bought it by the millions. Bad marketing design. Stupidly written. No planning. Very rushed job. SUPER-MEGA-WHALE FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE!! FAIL!! SUPER-FAIL!!

Fuck you, I’ve seen your name on at least two other site, with the exact same comment. Sounds like somebody’s a little butthurt about the new character being half Native American and half British. I’m American, and I love the idea of a mix-race hero. Would you have preferred the typical Native American that helps out the colonist to fight off the evil British? I wouldn’t. It would be too cliche. The fact that he has ties to three sets of people could create a kind of moral issue. If he was just a strict Native American, the only people that he would have ties to would be his people, and that would lead to a stale and overused plot. And if he was just a colonist, then of course he’d be fighting the British. I’ve seen too many movies and read too many books with that plot. Ubisoft wanted to try something different, so let them! If it fails, and I doubt that it will, they’d still have the money coming off of the other four games to last them until the next big game of theirs. And about your comment on it being a “rushed job”, this game spent three years in development, so I’m pretty sure that it wasn’t a “rushed job”.
