Silent Hill Downpour Puzzle Guide Part Two

Posted by Scott Grant | 15 Mar 2012 |

Pearl Creek and the Centennial Building.

If you missed part one of our Silent Hill Downpour Puzzle Guide you can find it here or click the Guides tab above. For now, let’s jump into the next set of puzzles and see what we can figure out.

Stolen Goods Side Quest:

This one isn’t so much a puzzle as it is a side quest but we’ll go over it anyway. When you leave the first section of Silent Hill proper you’ll enter via an apartment building. In one of the rooms is a man who has been hanged, or hanged himself, either way he appears to be the resident thief and has a pile of items under his bed. Below is a video detailing where to return each item and how to collect your reward.

Centennial Building Office Envelopes Puzzle:

Once you get into the upper floors of the Centennial Building you’ll encounter a section of the 2nd floor that is blocked off by a keypad lock. This code can be obtained by grabbing the keycard from Room 104, entering Room 105 and rearranging the envelopes on the desk to reveal the number 851136.

You can then return to the 2nd floor to enter the code and continue on.

Centennial Building Vault Puzzle:

The Centennial Building’s Vault is locked with three dials that are asking you to enter roman numerals. The solution can be found by obtaining the projector slides from Room 200 and inserting them into the projector that is in the door next to the vault. The code is IX-VI-I.
