Trials Evolution – Hidden Squirrels Location Guide

Posted by Peter Carpenter | 20 Apr 2012 |

This is a peanut free guide.

One of the achievements in the recently released Trials Evolution is “The Squirrels Have Eyes”, which tasks you with finding all 20 hidden squirrels throughout the tracks in the game, with the reward of 30G for your gamerscore.

This achievement is much harder than you may think, so we’ve rounded up the location of each squirrel to help you guys out. See the location of each squirrel below, and then a few video guides (which helped me find a few that I was missing) from YouTuber MyNameIsBeastMode.

Squirrel #1 – D License Track – At the very end of the track, if you wait around long enough after you cross the finish line, the squirrel will drop on your biker.

Squirrel #2 – Sewage Plant in Terminal Velocity – Near the start of the level, after you bounce across the three water pipes, the next big jump you have to bail out (press y) and fly across to the balcony to get the squirrel.

Squirrel #3 – Titan Graveyard in Terminal Velocity – Near the end of the track, before you jump across the wooden bridge, before you get to the lake where the rock hand comes out, stop, drop way down and go in reverse until you find the squirrel.

Squirrel #4 – Rock Steady in Terminal Velocity – At the very end of the track, after your cross the finish line, wait for the barrels to explode, and then the mountain will explode and you will get a squirrel.

Squirrel #5 – Harbour Havok in Collateral Damage – Near the start of the track, when you are on the first set of shipping containers, when you land on the ramp in the middle, stop and go in reverse to fall into the squirrels in the container.

Squirrel #6 – Meltdown in Terminal Velocity – Right at the start you must go in reverse and light yourself on fire. Then continue through the level without crashing at all and you’ll get a squirrel at the finish line.

Squirrel #7 – Suspense in Terminal Velocity – When you land on the first swinging platform, wait for it to go forward, backwards and forward again to reach the upper level where you’ll find the squirrel.

Squirrel #8 – Strike in Fuel of the Flames – Near the start of the track, hit the first big jump, then after you go through the first building there will be another small gap, drop all the way down and land. Then go into the building and up the two ramps to find the squirrel.

Squirrel #9 – Cliff Jumper in Fuel for the Flames – After the very first jump, slow down and fall over the edge instead of making the 2nd jump, go in reverse until you crash and get the squirrel.

Squirrel #10 – Sunset Stripped in Fuel for the Flames – First off, you must back up right at the start to set off the fireworks for this to work. Then keep going through the level as normal, and then after the next time fireworks go off, you’ll crash through the fence and then crash backwards at the big pole just ahead and squirrels will fall on you.

Squirrel #11 – Power Plant in Collateral Damage – After you go up the elevator near the middle of the track, once it stops, go in reverse and keep going until you fall and land on the squirrel.

Squirrel #12 – Mind Bender in Collateral Damage – When you ramp into the weird cube of electricity, bailout (press y) and aim yourself back to the way you came to land on the car and get the squirrel.

Squirrel #13 – Archipelago in Collateral Damage – To get the squirrel in this level you have to land five successful flips in a row, and then the squirrel will jump on the back of your bike.

Squirrel #14 – Swamp Fever in Collateral Damage – near the end of the level, you’ll see a giant spiked rock hanging above. The ramp just before that, bail out to crash over the top and get the squirrel.

Squirrel #15 – Physics Factory in Cutting Edge – When you land on the bouncing platform, stop and go in reverse until you crash in the box and reveal the squirrel.

Squirrel #16 – Lab Rat in Cutting Edge – At the start of the level, jump off the second set of stairs into the water and drive underwater until you get to a room with a button combination displayed on the objects. The combination is UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, A, X, A, X. Then restart the level and proceed as normal, until you reach the platform with two ramps, a pipe pointing down and some water. Stop in the water and press the button combo above to get the squirrel.

Squirrel #17 – RedLynx Moto-Jam in Cutting Edge – At the very start of the track, bounce back and forth on the first set of logs until the fireworks are done going off, then reverse over the big tires until you get to the bleachers and get the squirrel.

Squirrel #18 – Around the Ranch in Cutting Edge – At the end of the track, jump down and land just before the dirt pile with the fence around it, and the outhouse in the background, stop just before the ramp and go in reverse until the outhouse blows up and you get the squirrel.

Squirrel #19 – Under Construction in Death Valley – As you’re going up the building that is under construction, when you get near the top there is a ramp with a small wall after it, bounce off the wall and go back the way you came in reverse, which will reveal the squirrel. It’s at the 6:15 mark of the video below which is much easier to see than to describe.

Squirrel #20 – Bridge of Trials in Death Valley – Bail off your bike when you go over the ramp and barrels that are underneath the zipline (right before the finish line) to grab it (holding Y) and swing with it until you see the squirrels on the raft in the water below.

If all of that still doesn’t help, then check out the videos below.

I absolutely love how the order of the squirrels in the description don’t match the order in the video. Makes it so easy to follow this walkthrough :)

Yeah, I agree with Conny. Though most are super easy to figure out, you said at the beginning of lab rat. It is at the very end though

so many erroneous things in this text. “near the middle” in around the ranch. what? its in the absolute end. the lab rat text doesnt make sense either. after the second stairs? What? it’s in the pool.

Around the Ranch was a mistake, and it’s fixed. Thanks for pointing that out. For Lab Rat, you have to go under the water to see the combo so I was just describing the whole thing in detail.
