Halo 4 Will Have One Multiplayer Map Remake

Posted by Scott Grant | 05 Sep 2012 |

Which one will it be?

Earlier today 343 Industries Franchise Development Director, Frank O’Connor let us know that Halo 4 would include one multiplayer map remake from one of the previous Halo games.

Of course, he didn’t let us know which one but he did leave us with a few clues. First, it would “cause the least amount of drama of any new thing.” Well that’s pretty vague but likely means that everyone will like the map, which doesn’t really say much because I didn’t like plenty of maps that other people did.

Second: “It is NOT small.” Well there are a number of large maps in the previous games, but just how large is he talking? I know some people would be happy about this, but I hope to hell that it’s not Valhalla from Halo 3. You can check out a full list of the Remade Maps we would like to see in Halo 4 and let us know what you think in the comments.

Halo 3 The Pit

I’m personally hoping for The Pit, but it isn’t exactly what I would call “NOT Small.”

Hell, even Colossus – basically ALMOST anything from the original Halo 2 Multiplayer maps

Blood Gulch, Sidewinder, Boarding Action, Headlong, Lockout, Burial Mounds – I would be thrilled for any of those for sure, but ESPECIALLY if it were Waterworks!

I also would like to hope and pray that it is The Pit. I would also maybe say Construct?
