Coming next month.
Today, Bethesda officially announced the next expansion for Skyrim, which was rumored to be called Dragonborn after some clever PC gamers found references to it in the last PC patch, and it turns out they were right. Dragonborn is its name and it will be released on the Xbox 360 on December 4th for 1600 MS Points ($20). The release date for the PS3 and PC versions were not announced yet.
Taking place on the island of Solstheim, the Dragonborn DLC will see the return of the original Dragonborn as he seeks to regain his power and start devouring Dragons again. The trailer that was released as part of the announcement also revealed that the new DLC will include a new feature that will allow you to ride on the back of a Dragon. How much control you’ll have and how often you get to do it are yet to be seen, but this looks like a great new way to travel.
