Skyrim DLC Set To Release On PS3 and PC

Posted by Peter Carpenter | 18 Jan 2013 |

Finally.

If you own Skyrim on either the PS3 or PC, then you’ll be happy to know that Bethesda is finally ready to release the Hearthfire, Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC expansions on those platforms.

Well, to be fair, Hearthfire and Dawnguard have already been released on the PC, but not Dragonborn, so February 5th is the day PC owners have been waiting for. PS3 owners have been waiting for more Skyrim content for a while now, and even though Bethesda is targeting a staggered February release for the expansions, they didn’t confirm the exact dates. They did confirm that they will be releasing patch 1.8 on the PS3 though, just before the Dragonborn DLC is released.

Even though it sucks to still not have a firm release date, at least you know they have made progress and that you don’t have to wait that much longer. Plus, to make up for the long wait, each expansion will be 50% off during the first week on PS3, so that’s cool. Once we have the exact release dates, we’ll update here.

For now, you can read our reviews for Hearthfire, Dawnguard and Dragonborn.
