Ubisoft finally reveals the game.
The last week or so has been full of details for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, but they were all unofficial and none of them coming directly from Ubisoft. That all changed today when Ubisoft finally announced the game through the first gameplay trailer.
The trailer not only gave us our first real look at the gameplay, it also confirmed the release date of May 1st, 2013 and that Blood Dragon would be released on the Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network and PC via Steam. The gameplay looks identical to the original Far Cry 3, but with lots of neon colors, laser guns and robots. You know, pretty much what we’ve comes to expect in the Far Cry series. Since I grew up in the 80’s, my favorite part of Blood Dragon has to be the 80’s cartoon art style that’s used in the cutscenes. It definitely brings you back to the good old days of Saturday morning cartoons.
We don’t have long to wait for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, but the trailer below will have to do for now.
