Dangle like Datsyuk.
EA Sports released a new NHL 14 trailer today to give us a look at how the new One Touch Dekes will work and how they’ve updated True Performance Skating.
In NHL 13 you had to use both analog sticks and the left bumper to pull off a successful deke, but with NHL 14 you’ll only have to use the left analog stick and the left bumper. One. Less. Button! All jokes aside, this should make it much easier for everyone to be able to pull off some great dekes. The other part of the new trailer goes over some of the updates that EA made to True Performance Skating in NHL 14. This year, EA added another 1000+ skating animations, defensive strafing to allow players to face forward while moving laterally across the ice, quicker pivots and improved turning while skating at high speeds.
Check out the new trailer below and don’t forget to vote for Datsyuk in the NHL 14 Cover Vote here.
