Battlefield 4 Xbox 360 Hard Drive Space Requirements Revealed

Posted by Peter Carpenter | 15 Oct 2013 |

Prepare 4 install.

If you’re planning on picking up Battlefield 4 for the Xbox 360 later this month, you’ll need to make some room on your hard drive, as it will need almost 15 GB’s of space for optimal performance.

Battlefield 4 Hard Drive Requirements

DICE confirmed earlier today that BF4 will have a mandatory 2 GB install (Hard Drive required for Xbox 360, USB devices will not work), and then optional installs of 6.6 GB for the multiplayer and 5.8 GB for the single player campaign. Though optional, DICE recommends the extra installs if you want to have the best possible experience while playing Battlefield 4. Anyone still using the old 20 GB, or even the 60 GB HDD, should look into getting a bigger hard drive. Game installs are only going to keep getting bigger and bigger.

The PC version will require 30 GB’s of free space, and the PS3, PS4 and Xbox One requirements haven’t been revealed yet.

dont buy this game for 360 and dont upgrade hard drive they are scamming and working with microsoft they first made the game look worse than bf3 on 360 so people upgrade now ea wants you to buy internal microsoft hdd to always install 2 gb on nfs too for absolutely no reason even gta 5 you could install on usb they want to make the last profits out of x360 just pirate ea games(except me2) and you will be fine

Ok so yeah I have the space but it will not accept my original 4 G hard drive that came with my consol so it probably has to be an HD drive. Which sucks because I was looking forward to it now I have to wait.

It also needs to be a HD hard drive Im having problems with that as well. Cant even download the game to play it. Even Single player
